Hey guys, I just purchased an Black 08 GCSRT from a dealer (Yesterday),
and so far, I am pretty happy (except with the MPG :boohoo:)

It seems to have a Magnaflow catback exhaust, and
HID Foglights as mods. Everything else appears stock.

The Jeep is everything I dreamed of, and more.

Anyway, I just filled the tank a little while ago, and while
cruising home at 60 MPH on the highway, my CEL went on.

No other warnings appear, just the light.
I went through the controls, and double checked the oil pressure,
and the temperature (said 222 degrees, read somewhere that
people mod the thermostat?)

Anyway, It was daytime, so I am pretty sure the HID Foglights didn't trigger it.

But again, no other warnings.

When I got home, I checked the gas cap, and it seems tight / fine.
Also, the Jeep seems to be running the same.

I don't have any tools to review any codes, so I am concerned.

What would be the best way to check the code, and if it is something
stupid, the best way to clear the CEL?

Thanks.

As Jim stated, I cleared the CEL. I disconnected the batter for 5 minutes, and reconnected it. At this point I am *hoping* that it was just a loose fuel cap.
