GREAT NEWS! There is a RECALL zero cost to have the Carbon fiber replaced. it is not a huge issue just incredibly ANNOYING to look at it. Do it before take sway the recall
My local dealer has sent in pictures to FCA and just waiting on word back from them. I doubt they will cover it but who knows. Should be a permanent warranty till there's a fixWhile you are correct that the original X77 warranty replacement is no longer available (it expired December 15th, I believe) - your vehicle was covered. Mine is a 2012 and I had it at the dealer and parts ordered late November and it still qualified.. I'd still make a case with the dealer and even reach out to Fiat/Jeep if you're having the well known and complete bullshit issue these things have.
This is not true, I called them today and they are fixing this issue again for me. SRT gave me a case number in less then 5 minutesThe extended warranty X77 is done depending on the year of your jeep. My 14 is no longer covered under that warranty

There is a permanent warranty, I’ve having this repaired again on a 8 year old jeep, SRT didn’t even question me, I called just for the heck of it and they were all over it.My local dealer has sent in pictures to FCA and just waiting on word back from them.
