They didn't crack the PCM, they're using a piggyback system. I beleive the Jeep's PCM needs to communicate with the TCM in order to work properly. You would probably lose the paddle shifters if it worked at all.....

This new Arrington Performance supercharger kit gets around the 2011 PCM tuning limitation by supplying a replacement NGC4 Controller and an engine wiring harness from a 2005-2010 HEMI vehicle. After swapping harness and the NGC4 controller, any 2011 can then be tuned. Although Arrington's solution replaces these components, it does not eliminate or reduce any of your vehicles features. Power steering, A/C, and all of the other stock amenities will work just as they did before your HEMI engine was supercharged.

Is this a viable solution? And can it be applied to the Jeeps? Or is a band aid to a much more complicated problem?
There are way too many new things on the WK2 to make this work. The dial adjustment alone would be the biggest reason it will not work.

Absloutely not true. The same treatment we use on the 2011 and up Challengers will work on the 2012 Jeep as well. We are Currently Quoteing 2 Builds now. It is absloutely an option with 100% factory functional content.
Thanks

how would that work? in order to run the 2011 PCM you would need the whole harness changed or get rid of certain feauters on the Jeep!! There is a lot of things/option that the Jeep has which is not compatible with the 2011 LC...good luck but only time will tell if it works.

If Aj says it can be done he will get it done. That has always been my experience with the Hemituner!!!!

People may not be aware of two interesting facts about the Hemituner.

1. Tuned the 440 when no one else had been having success.
2. Took Winstons Jeep to the Dyno and made 743hp and 940ish tq when no one else had any success!!

And I was the owner of the 440 and at the Dyno when it happened!!!

To date there are 5 2011 lc's, 6 2011 rams, and about 20 2012 JK's with 6.4's and Nag transmissions all sucessfully converted. The 2012 WK is no different. And you actually do not have to change the harness, Believe me the vehicle retains 100% feature content. Its all in the programming.

Aren't things so easy these days Junior? Slap in a built motor, tranny, and a snail and go run 9's and 10's no problem!

Back in the day....all we had were heads, cam, and a shitty B/G tune.

Evolution is awsome. 10's were like climbing Everest, we made 9's look Easy after that. So many super fast rigs from so many different camps. Good stuff
