I am prepping for my upcoming camshaft (FRI Little Boy +4) and valve spring install and need to know exactly what I should hand deliver to my installer to ensure a quick turnaround without any problems revolving around missing parts. Jeep will have roughly 15,000 miles on it by the time of the install. Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

What cam ( including specs ) are you planning to install ? - this will determine what is required :)

Yea he makes a point, if its a bigger cam then you'll need springs, retainers, pushrods, cam bolt, break in lube, depending on how many miles you have you may as well change the timing set and front cover gasket if it needs to be changed. Hmmm can't think of anything else really...

Are they pulling the heads off to do the springs or using a spring tool? I'd say oil, filter, coolant, cam bolt, head gaskets(if pulling the heads), exhaust manifold gaskets(if pulling the heads), water pump gasket, maybe a new water pump if you've got some miles on it as well as a timing chain set if you have some miles on it, maybe timing cover gasket if damaged while pulling apart.... should be about it. Good luck.

Shouldn't need to, but as a margin of safety you Should upgrade the springs and rods locators and retainers. It's cheaper than breaking a spring and f'n up your motor. Beyond that a crank bolt and oil change as well as the coolant. Get the gaskets just in case they need them.

If they pull the heads for the job you might as well put headers back on as it would be free install and the lil boy loves headers!!!
