Despite my handle, I recently moved to CA. I've kept the NY plates but I'm about to switch over. I'm pretty much stock on the motor, except for catch can, BB exhaust, and a CAI.

Will I fail CA emissions because of the CAI? Any tips from fellow Californians?

Unfortunately yes, without a CARB (California Air Research Board) sticker for your CAI you will need to find a stock air intake to pass visual.

The catch can should be fine as would the rest of your rig... sniffer test only, we are exempt from the rollers as we are AWD.

The CA DMV site has some good information.

I edited the post just a moment before you replied. Is aftermarket (B&B) exhaust CARB legal?
