Like the title says I received an email today from Borla exhaust. I had inquired about an exhaust system for the WK2 and was informed that the exhaust system would be available in the second quarter of this year.Hopefully

better than the answer i got which was just keep checking our website. not even a comment on if they are working on a system.

I can't wait to see this done and hear one in person. The wk2 sounds a lot better stock than the wk1. I'm just wondering if this will hurt performance or have a noticeable difference.

Something tells me you're already trying to get your name on a waiting list somewhere, LOL. If you're in town here when it comes out I know a great little shop real close to here to have it installed at.

There's that thread about the Corsa exhaust for the WK2 saying they may need a test fit jeep for a free system. It's not to far from Fort Wayne...

The aftermarket exhaust makers are having problems with the ECO/Exhaust valve system that's what is taking so long to put one out.I would change mine out but without the valve the ECO system cannot perform correctly.It helps with drone as well

Really? I didn't think that was humanly possible. When I owned my 06' Charger SRT and a GC SRT would pull up next to me, I'd be drooling all over my steering wheel. To date, I personally have NEVER heard a more awesome stock exhaust system than that of of pre '12 GC SRT, be it at idle or while balls-to-the-wall. I love it. It's marked me for life. My sexual perfomance has been affected by it. My appetite, my work ethic.......

Having stated the above, I haven't heard a '12 GC SRT in real life and only saw one for the first time yesterday morning. Hope you're right, Boychiks.

I may have exaggerated by saying "a lot" better. When I heard one and drove it, I thought it had more a gurgling sound and pop when lowering gears and coming down.

I asked about a Borla S system in my email. I commented that I like the Borla S on my WK1 and would like to see one for the WK2. But no, they didn't say specifically what was being made. Just something in the works.

Hopefully something loud like the S ?

Thanks Zac, I'm sure it will sound great whatever they do. I think they should offer some black chrome tips with it. They would go nice with the black across the bottom there. Still blend in but give it some shininess.

agreed. if the tips are silver i will be getting them powdercoated.
