This past weekend I made it up to the Windy City from Bloomington Illinois. I am very lucky in that I had the opportunity to meet a handful of new forum members in person this weekend whether it was over drinks or during showing off our jeeps. Friday during the day I made it out to Dan's (DCSpecial) shop in Northern IL (basically Wisconsin lol). Dan was holding onto an HID for me because one of the ones he sent me with my headlights was broken (jk it burnt out after 4 months and was still under warranty). Also at his shop was Matt (GlorySends). It was a pleasure to finally meet both of them in person. We got a lot of work done to my jeep, and by we I mean they, which was awesome. We were able to get the broken HID switched out of my headlights, put in LED switchbacks, fixed my front lower grille, changed my oil, swapped my SRT8 rear badge with a DCSpecial custom badge, straightened my crooked tail pipes, and swapped my interior lights with green V-LEDs. I really want to thank Dan and Matt for lending a helping hand on maintenance of my jeep, I learned a lot (righty tighty lefty loosey right?) and we got a lot accomplished. My beast looks a lot better now .

Friday night I got to grab a bite to eat with Chad (CMN1) and Tim (BullsF6512). It was also a pleasure meeting you too, especially in a scenario where I wasn't handing out a envelope full of cash . I had a blast at dinner and can't to harass more waitresses with you guys at some point.

Then late Friday night I met up with Ishmael (OsoIsh08) and Jose (Knuckles) and we grabbed a drink together at a bar and chatted. It was also very nice to meet you too and your significant others. Thanks for joining me at that strange bar and putting up with the crowd lol. Next time we need to get the beasts together though .

I know I've said it before, but it's a pretty amazing thing when when any number of unrelated strangers can get together and provide a lending hand or simply provide company over a common interest. I have made lots of lasting relationships through this forum and I will continue to create more.

A big thanks to everyone who came out to meet me this weekend, it was a blast and I look forward to our future interactions.
