i would go to autozone or a local store and have them test the battery, its free. if its good then you could rule out the battery.
Except that Optima Batteries have gone way downhill lately. Johnson Controls moved production to Mexico and then the quality went down. People used to get 7-8 years out of one and now are lucky to get 3 out of them.Buy the Optima red or yellow top and forget it. Stock battery can be problematic
I went over the 36K miles quite some time ago -- battery only acted up twice in the last 3 months.OP - your 3YR/36K warranty is out?
If not you should have gotten a new battery under warranty (if it was bad).
Makes sense. With batteries as any active part, it is not just the age, it is also the usage.I went over the 36K miles quite some time ago -- battery only acted up twice in the last 3 months.
