Like the title says just got a custom box built with 2 10's in their and a 1000 watt alpine amp, sounds incredibly good (I don't have the gain turned up much tho maybe 1/3 of the way because I just wanted a little more bump nothing crazy). The shop also put on the new front SRT logo on my lower grill.

Pics of it all...

Yes I believe they wired it up to the stock subwoofer signal. Also yes I did purchase the upgraded HK Audio package. I already had the 2 10's and the amp laying at home from my previous vehicle they are like brand new so I thought why not just put them in rather than sitting around.

Hey the sound is awesome man I love it hits perfectly and I don't have it cranked up loud at all just there for a bit of extra bass. I didn't want to go all out on the setup mainly because its in the trunk no one will ever see it and the subs are getting covered in a couple of weeks with black grills. It does sound awesome though, you'll love it. (If you need I can measure out my sub box in a few days when I'm back at home and let you know the dimensions to see if your Kicker setup will work).

What equipment do you need to add aftermarket subs? In my 2009 SRT I liked the kicker sub and would like to have some more thump. I wanna add one 12 sub, how could i do this and tie it in with the factory head unit, disconnect the factory sub and also add an amp for the after market sub?

Hey so sorry I forgot about this thread haha, but for the 2009 I'm not too sure I think you need a PAC module you can go to Pac audio's website through google and find it. It connects your amp and subwoofers to your stock stereo and you get that extra kick, there are numerous threads posted on the kicker setup for the Wk1 and it has step by step on what to do along with what modules you will need. Not too much work.
