My dealer has struggled with some oil leaks for my 2014 HEMI 6.4L. At their own expense, they want to do a full examination and repair taking the engine out of the bay. Is this a good idea? Any issues I should be aware of? Thx

Also- you don't pull these engines without some serious thought and equipment around. It drops out the bottom or gets pulled with the front end off and the condenser draped to the side/ac system bles down and removed
I had my blown 392 changed out for a forged 426 and they did not have to pull the front end off.

If there is a mystery leak, the only way to figure it out and fix it is to pull the motor.

You giving them permission to do it does not free them of any responsibilites. If they mess anything up doing so, they will have to fix it at their cost.
