I just bought a 07 jeep srt8. After only having it for 3 days, i got this warning light and my jeep felt sluggish. When I would turn, I would get this noise as well. From reading on this forum, I think it is my transfer case. Is that A good assumption? When i took it to the dealership here in ABQ, it was giving a code of Transfer Case Motor being overworked. This would further add to my case of thinking I need a new transfer case not just the transfer case motor. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank God I got the extended warranty.

Remember in New Mexico we have the 15 day 500 mile warranty from any dealer. Where did you get it from?

I picked it up in Arizona. I also just had the differential, transfer case fluids changed. Go figure.

Make sure they added they proper amount of T-Case fluid.
