With 22s, most guys are running 265/35s front and 295/30s rear.
I chose 265/35s front and 315/30s rear because they are closer in diameter (and they look cool :)).

305/35s= 30.4" in diam. They are way too tall compared to any size you could run in the front (ie: 265/35= 29.3" = 3.62% difference).
*for comparison, the 265/315 combo is only a 0.48% difference.
*You need to run a 30 series tire in the rear. A 305/30 would be perfect but nobody makes then any more.
Hope this helps.

No problem. 295/30/22s are virtually identical in diameter to the stock 285/40/20s because of the lower profile sidewall. The 315s are 0.4" taller but height shouldn't be an issue (some guys run way taller 24s and are lowered with no rubbing and another member is running 315/30/22s with no rubbing, but on different wheels), it's more about the width. I haven't installed mine yet because there is snow on the ground here :(
So with the 265/295 combo the front tire is 0.3" taller than the rear.
With the 265/315 combo the front is 0.1" shorter than the rear.
Cheers
