Please don't take this the wrong way at all, I want everyone to know right from the start, that I'm in no rush to sell, or in any financial bind or hardship of any kind, so I really will not entertain any lowball offers. I honestly LOVE this truck, take care of it like a baby, and would hate to see it go - but it just sits and I never get to enjoy it - and if the price is right I will consider.
I will give you the back story.
Purchased brand new April 14th, 2010, (not even 2yrs ago) used it for a few months, then wound up getting a place with my girlfriend in NYC. We could only keep one car at our new place so we decided to take her brand new '12 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with us, and my SRT8 sits in my parents garage on Long Island.
The truck has 9,985 babied miles on it. I have never even taken it on a drive of more than 50 miles. It's not my DD, and never gets used in the winter. It's fully loaded with every available option except the engine block heater.
I try and come home every few weeks to drive it back & forth to Target and the car wash. It has a small outstanding lien left with JPMorgan Chase for $15k (My employer).
Clean CarFax otherwise, never been hit or in an accident. I don't even like people looking at it for long periods of time (haha). No unusal wear & tear, dents or scratches. It doesn't even have any usual wear and tear, other than a few hair-line marks. Believe it or not the truck has never been beat-on or even driven aggressively. I really would like to sell it to someone who is local because I'd want them to come see it.
Like most of us, I get the truck professionally detailed twice a year. The next one is coming in May to get ready for summer.
It is slightly modded, more for aesthetic value than anything else, all of which I listed above.
It came directly from the factory with a Mopar CAI and a BT Catch-can installed so never a drop of oil has leaked. I just added a larger custom air filter to the CAI for more air flow. It has new drilled & slotted rotors with Hawk Ceramic pads on the front (to limit the insane amount of dust from the stock pads) and Akebono Cermaic pads on the rear (to eliminate the squeal from the rear stock pads). The front windows are tinted to match the rear, 5' custom exhaust tips, a factory installed Mopar CAI, custom red SRT grill emblem, SRT Liquiddomes for the steering wheel and shifter, rear fog harness to utilize the rear fog lights, front SRT door sills, and red SRT underhood emblems. The truck looks sick, and I second-guess even listing it, just writing this. It's not for sale on eBay or locally. I just put it up on the forum just to gauge the interest level, and if the price is right we can talk.
The truck currently sits on brand new 22" staggered Factory Reproduction Gloss Black Reps wrapped in Nitto 420's 265/295. They have approx 200 miles on them. I am including the stock wheels which have about 5k miles on them in the sale, but im sure a deal for the reps could be worked out. I get offers to sell them all the time.
The truck also comes with an additional $2500 bumper-to-bumper 7yr/85k warranty. That will be included in the sale. So next month, being that I've had the truck two years it will still have a 5yr/75k warranty.
I change the oil myself. It's been changed after the first thousand miles and every 2,500 after that.
For the first year and a half that I owed the truck I hand washed it a minimum of once a week. A lot of times it was two or three. No pets have ever been in it, and no one has ever smoked or eaten anything in it.
I originally was looking to get less, but didn't incorporate the additional extended factory warranty, all of the things I put into the truck, the 22' black reps/Nitto tires, how rare and hard it is going to be to find another 2010 like this, and not to mention how much I would hate to see it go. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy because of how much I love it. Clearly women just don't understand this relationship.
$57,500 takes it all.
