I am building a 6.1 stroker with ARP main studs. I had the short block built by my machinist and am putting the rest together.

My issue is with the ARP main stud kit only one long stud was provided for the oil pick mount, nothing for the windage/oil pan gasket. There were two long studs on the factory mains.

Do you need to put a nut under the pickup tube and one over it to torque? Nothing to bolt the windage screen down except the oil pan bolts. Is this how its supposed to be done?
