front and rear sensors are all the same part#.I just installed headers on the 6.1 this week and now I’m starting to throw codes. P0153 and 1333. I used the o2 extensions from jegs which I hear could be the problem. I also made sure they were plug into the right o2 wires from the car. I guess what I really want to know is if the o2 sensors are specific. Do the front o2 have a different part number then the rear o2 bc I could have placed the wrong o2 hole. I would also like to shut off my rear o2 in the car with the Diablo. Can anyone tell me where this feature is located when you install the tune? Is the option available in the "modify tune”? I do have the old version on the Diablo bc I heard the new Diablo’s do not give you the option to turn the rear o2 off.
Thanks chris
P0153 / p0133 are primary o2 sensor codes, and are common for headers. they have a negative effect on closed loop motor operation. not sure whether the jegs o2 sensor extensions could be what's responsible for the front o2's setting codes. i have the same codes with my kooks headers, and they did the install for me as well - not sure which extensions they used.
what year is your jeep? what brand of headers did you get?
