Custom tune HHP

Hey guys just curious on what you guys think or if you have any experience on HHP (High HorsePower performance) custom tune. I am currently running CAI, borla Cat-back, MM 87 TB, 180 and my 91 CAN diablosport tune on my 17 srt.. what thinking of trying or worth going for a custom tune from HHP level 2 custom tuning for $275? You guys think it worth it based on my Mods. I wasnít thinking of running headers just yet untill couple of years from now , which requires a custom tune. Please let me know what you guys think?

Absolutely worth a custom tune. With the removal of torque management and transmission tweaking is alone totally worth it.

Custom tune, even without any mods, is worth it. Not sure about the whole "level 2" thing however... Normally you just get a custom tune written specifically for your vehicle, it's not really tiered.

As for level 2 is what HHP calls it on there website. Level 1 is just CAI and catback for $175 and level 2 is CAI, Catback, Throttle body, thermostat headers which I donít have lol. For $275. Have you guys have any experience with HHP tunes?

I had a dyno tune from a highly recommend Mopar builder in the Pacific NW and my gains were minimal at best. He told me the SRT people dialed them in pretty nice from the factory and wasn't much to be done (I had basic bolt ons) Def. NOT worth comprising the power train warranty or the 1000 dollar price tag. IMO.... No MDS was nice though...

HHP can tune, that is for sure. I've read a lot of pros/cons of their customer service, so you might want to research them.

Thanks guys I am currently running full bolt on except LT headers. With a 91 CAN Diablo tune. Donít get me wrong the power is strong and drive great. Just thought maybe with a custom tune it will be some different in power and drive ability.

What year is your SRT? From your Avatar, Ď17? Have you had the TCM tuned?

Yes I do have a 17.. I did get the TCM tuned from diablosport.. I have been only running/ tunes from a 91 CAN tune but I am very curious if a custom tune from HHP or HF would make some difference?

You can get better tuning from actual tuners for the same price as HHP. Do,your research... HHP provides good builds via BES then installs. As far as actual tuning they fall behind. Unless you are acugoing to be a front supporter in a high end build that they will use to market their Name... In your aspect you will get better or at least equal with faster responses and revisions via other actreal tuners. HHP is not a ďtuningĒ facility.

I know as i have spent thousands and thousands with HHP. I enjoy the quality of BES but every tune I have received from HHP was just average at best. I have had greatly improved aspects in tuning via actual Tuning professional that you can find via our forums.

All Motor......... Just old fashion CI .. Nothing to see here... Just drive by..
