Trading Hellcat on Trackhawk Deal Advice

Greetings all. Was looking for a little input here. Local dealer has a left over 18 trackhawk they need to unload. I have liked them since they came out but with my wife’s SRT Durango I haven’t felt the need to trade hellcat for one. Well this thing is brand new and has trailer tow and panoramic roof option. Tow is really the only option I would want if I ordered one. Long story short, window sticker says $92k, marked down to 85k. My out the door price with tax and fees would be just under $33k. Seems like a good deal to me. Trading a 15 charger hellcat with 10k miles. They valued my car at $51k and came down some off the $85k depending how you want to split it. I know there are cheaper trackhawks out there but I don’t see another dealer offering me as good of a trade. What do you guys think of the deal?

Thanks in advance

Id say that seems to be a fair deal but the question is, do you want the engine in a car or an suv. You already have an srt Durango

Yes that is part of the debate. I like the jeeps a lot. I had an 08 SRT I still miss here and there. The Jeep offers some nice features my hellcat does not have, and being 6’4” the extra room would be nice for me and the family. I don’t really think the Jeep gives up much handling to the charger honestly. I know I could autocross faster in the Jeep vs my car. Main thing is I hope the Jeep doesn’t bore me from 80mph on up

I don't know trade-in values for the Hellcats but that isn't much of a discount on the TH. I understand that your concern is the delta between trade-in and new car purchase but just FYI I got 12k off my 2018 3 months ago with great trade in on my 2015 SRT Jeep - and my TH wasn't a heavily optioned one with tons of wiggle room (MSRP of just over 90).

Use the trade-in value they have offered you as leverage with another dealership maybe? I think there are still a lot of 18s out there.

Take those numbers and go to another dealer, just keep going back and forth until you are satisfied. The first offer is never the best offer.

I just bought and 18 this weekend, traded my 2015 SRT. I got 15K off sticker. Car was priced at $93,425. shop around and tell them that other dealers are offering 15K off sticker and they will make it happen.

IMO find the TH with all the options you want.
They are out there, and they aren't flying off the shelves as fast as when they finally hit the streets.

The deal seems ok to me. 51k for a 15 seems damn good, even with the low miles.

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Waiting could bite you in the butt. I have not seen anything about the TH (or SRT for that matter) continuing into the next gen.

What did they give you on trade for your 2015 SRT? I have a 2014 looking to trade on a TH this weekend...are they really going $15k off sticker?
