Triple gauge pod install

So I just grabbed a triple gauge pod, cant seem to figure out how its supposed to be installed. Over the factory A pillar, or remove the factory pillar? When I remove it, there doesn't seem to be any way to secure the triple pod. When I leave the factory pod on, the triple pod doesn't really fit over the A pillar and there would be no room for wires/vac line.

It goes over and screws to the factory A-pillar. Looks like crap if you're a detail kind of guy. Kind of ricey. Looks bad from the front because you can see the lip sticking out. Not much room, but enough behind it. And you loose the grab handle. Good luck.
