I love my jeep looks great it's mint but I kind of feeling the 14 mustang
Gt 5.0 with the recaros and a 6 speed
I priced on out 37500 the way I want it
Plus it's cheap to mod and go fast
Really.....do you have to ask us what we think!?!? J/k Im not a mustang fan but they are cheap and easy to mod. Id keep the jeep but thats me. Also depends on if your miles are getting up there and age of the jeep. If you need a new ride go for it.
Stay away from the new manual trans on the mustangs. Heard bad things about them. Plus the auto is actually faster. Unless of course you really want the manual.

Uncle Henry should have stuck the T56 in them
Yeah most of the reviews I have read about the outdated manual trans in the new 5.0 is not positive. However, the rest of the vehicle in terms of handling and power has a great rep.
To answer this question we really need to know what you are looking for. Do you need a reliable DD that can handle all the weather elements? If so keep the jeep. Are you in a location where your winters are very wild and it's warm most the year? Maybe the Mustang would be more fun. Do you just want a vehicle that's easy and reliable to make fast? Mustang.

I say test drive one, convince the sales persona to go for a longer ride. Punch it a few times, is it powerful enough to your liking? Then when you get back, hurry back into your jeep and take it on the same run. See which you like better, then take into account everything John said about weather, etc.

Good idea Joey. Also, if you do go with the Mustang, make sure you choose the 3.73 gears from the factory. Everyone says this is the best gear pairing for the 5.0's for a good mix between daily driving and track use.
Keep the Jeep, the GT's are not really worth the money IMHO. That $37,500 gets you a stripped down base GT with cloth Recaros, and the track pack.....nothing else. It costs $47,000 to get the leather Recaros, track pack, electronics package, Shaker 1000 audio, glass roof, and all the rest of the bells and whistles. A Boss 302 is $45,500. While the Boss doesn't have all the electronics, leather, and trinkets that are on the GT.....it does have is a $10,500 forged engine, upgraded shocks, springs, swaybars, swaybar links, clutch, exhaust, oil cooler, radiator, etc. If you were to try to build a GT to the level of the Boss, it would cost you over $15,000 in performance parts....and you still wouldn't have forged internals. The Boss 302 is the best value in terms of what you get for the money, and most importantly resale value. That GT will be worth nothing in a few years. Unfortunately the Boss is discontinued for 2014, so you would have to find a 13 leftover.
I've tossed around the idea of getting a 14 GT, but when you really take a close look at what you get for the money, it isn't worth it. The MT-82 trans is garbage, and while the auto is faster in the 1/4 once you are built, its slower stock. It also drives like a dog around town with the auto and 3.31 gears. The thumb switch doesn't respond quick enough, so trying to manually shift it like our Jeeps isn't as fun. It also doesn't allow you to get the track pack.....so you have to spent $900-$1000 on a Torsen T2, 31 spline axles, and 3.73 gears.
