What is this?

I cleaned the jeep up and while cleaning the peddles I saw this hanging right next to the OBDII port. It's a little button that I can depress. Any ideas?

I will get pics up in a minute. My iPhone is not uploading pics right.

Haha I knew that was coming. Give me a minute, pics are not downloading.

It's saying on both my iPhone and iPad that the images are not valid.

It's definitely not factory, looks like a piece of PVC painted silver to protect the button. Can you see where the wires go to?

What is this?

I thought about that. it runs pretty far behind the dash. I would have to pull apart the dash.

I haven't pressed it while running.
