How did this happen?!

I walk out to the garage this morning and saw that lol
Jeep was in the garage all weekend so idk how that happened unless the glass was ice cold and when I used the remote start this morning it cracked?

What a waste of $70 for a new mirror

Could be caused by an extreme change in temperature, but I doubt that was the case.

How did this happen?!

I would say temperature change. I've seen glass do some weird things in colder months. You could have had a very small crack that magnified when warmed up.

Yeah must have been weak point in glass combined with temp change.

Yeah winter blows. I'd agree it was probably a weak point and the temp change did it. Still sucks

I got an assembly from 1-800 Radiator ... They hook it up like none other on things like this.

Just got off the phone with the dealer, and they said the mirror itself can be fixed separately for only $30.
