The cost of going deep into the tens is not worth it for me. Low 11's with an occasional 10 second slip is fine. Of course once I get there I'll want more, but at that time I'll switch back to a Vette...
I spent about 25K to make my Vette run mid 9's all day long.
So if I can find a Jeep for 25k and spend about 15k in mods I should be close.
Sounds like an '07 jeep and send it to Get a turbo and good tune...
I see your in PA. Look at my sig.
Theres guys on stock block also running the Stage 6 setup and in the 10's on race gas.
My 10.76 was just showing up at the track, all seats in, street tires, low boost 10#, right off the street....I havent been back to see what it would do since my revisions on the street tune....
PWR/STAGE6/SHR/FTI/JerseyBoy tuning.....PB-10.76@126..1.63 60ft-10# full street trim
PB-10.01@141..1.53 60ft-18# race gas
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship." -Alexander Tytler
