The real problem is this -

There have been illegal guns on the streets FOREVER... gang bangers rarely register their guns... if you know what I'm saying.

BUT - Now they are going to actively seek out LAW ABIDING CITIZENS and confiscate their weapons... WTF SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?!?
I love when they talk about the police needing better weapons than the people, F THAT NOISE... I am the first line of defense in Self Defense... I'd rather be investigated for killing someone than have the cops look for him after my funeral. You don't need the cops if there is no crime... a real good deterent is to be able to defend yourself.

I spent an hour or so last night on YouTube and watched a lot of what Ted Nugent had to say. This guy has always been a hero of mine, for reasons unrelated to music (I only know Cat Scratch Fever) ... he is an avid outdoorsman, family man, NRA board member and just all around incredible guy. The problem is, he comes across as a little bit of a nut job because a lot of what he says sounds crazy... but in reality makes perfect sense. He will come right out and say " Kill the car jacker, don't give him your car", "Kill the child molester, don't put him on probation" ... etc... A lot of people are too soft about that stuff. Shoot those MF'rs and we won't have a lot of the repeat offenders... you don't get to repeat molesting a 10 yr old. You die. You don't get to go on parole after you kill your mother with a hammer... YOU DIE.

Gotta check out his video, description is something like "Best speech 2nd ammendment" something or other.

Did you guys know about the shooting before the movie theater massacre? No? That is because someone shot that bastard before he could go on a shooting spree. You know the guy in the movie theater was shooting people for 20 minutes? OMG... you give my grandma a handgun and she will be able to load it and put 6 in his chest in about 2 minutes.

It's naive to think any sort of assault weapons ban will reduce gun violence. So they take away folding stocks, larger mags, and plastic pistol grips......is the weapon any less deadly now?? This is a media fueled, knee-jerk reaction. Creating scenarios about what some derainged person could possibly do, is rediculous. You cannot predict when, or how someone will snap......or by which means they will use to carry out their deed.

The fact is, there are bad people in this world......nothing will change that. Each and every person needs to take responsibilty for their own self-defense. The police, and government can only respond AFTER a situation starts. When shit gets real, YOU are the first responder. Survival of the fittest is the basic foundation of life.....kill or be killed. If you want to call 911, and run and hide until someone comes to save your a$$.....that's your choice. If you wan't these sickos to stop shooting crowds of people......make them aware that people will shoot back.

Do you think bank robberies would continue to rise if every bank employee, and customer was armed? Let me paint that picture for you........Man walks into a bank, passes a note that he has a gun/knife/bomb/silly putty/etc. 15 firearms of various calibers appear from around the room.....all pointed at the suspect. Even if he has a gun, he can't shoot everyone before someone drops him. Do you think people would continue to rob banks if this happened all the time?? People would have to start robbing banks in gangs, just to have enough firepower to leave alive.

The American public with the amount of weapons they own now, are a bigger number than all the armies combined throughout the world. We've been pretty fine so far. This whole debate crap started b/c a parent thought it was a good idea to show her unstable child how to shoot. What that lady what thinking I have no idea. Don't go off on me about people with Autism as I am a huge advocate for finding a cure as my best friend has 2 Autistic kids. There's no way in hell he would teach his two kids though how to shoot guns. I'm sorry this may sound cruel but this whole thing was this ladys fault. She made a bad choice in thinking it was okay as an outlet to take that kid shooting and teaching him about guns IMO. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. If you don't agree with me..... then that's your opinion.

This interview was painful to watch, even for me as a Canadian. The assumptions of nay sayers and terrified babies like this idiot are the reason things like this happen to the public and NOBODY DOES ANYTHING. I live in Alberta Canada, pretty much the equivalent to Texas in terms of the boisterous, flamboyant, gun totin sum***** (no offense intended) mentality. I would love for the law abiding citizens up here to even have the option of acquiring any sort of carry permit whether it be concealed or my all time favorite idea OPEN CARRY . As a law abiding citizen I fully believe that the idea of open carry is an absolute and total deterrent towards many if not most of would be attackers on the streets. Human beings in general are very fearful creature and even just the idea of the person you were planning on assaulting having equal if not a better chance of hurting or completely neutralizing you instead is in my opinion very effective. Say you are packing a gangsta friendly 9mm pistol with the sights even mounted on the side of the slide to accommodate your ridiculous sideways shooting "style" and you were thinking about shaking down this old timer in a parking lot. He then turns his once blind side towards you while loading the groceries into his vehicle and on his hip is a colt anaconda in the lovely .44 rem magnum. NOW, even with your generous magazine capacity advantage over his ol' six shooter, would you attempt the takedown? Chances are this fella is trained to use his a LOT more than your thug ass seeing as how he had to prove it to acquire his permit, not just buy it out of the trunk of a lincoln continental. Back on topic, guns are easy to point fingers at or use as the fuel for the mass paranoia fire, but in all fairness criminals will always continue to be criminals and they will always have a means to getting whatever they require to carry out their agendas. To disarm the public is a step in the wrong direction IMO. Even with our over zealous gun laws in Canada there are a lot of legal ways that we can continue to carry our weapons in our vehicles if not on our person. It is public knowledge that I am a true firearm enthusiast and a law abiding citizen and that seems to be good enough for everyone around here. Crime rate in the town I live in is very low as violent crime is measured in fist fights, not stabbings or shootings here. I know that all my neighbors possess firearms, they know that I do. What in god's name would make anyone want to chance meeting one of our many "tools" on the business end is beyond me. Not trying to defend hillbilly logic or piss anyone off, but my standpoint is simple and the Swiss have it figured out. Let the flaming begin.

I've been saying the same thing since day one! Fault here is with the parents. I have 3 stable, grown children. They never knew I owed firearms until they where older. To this day none of them know where to find them.
If I had a child with mental disabilities such as the sandy hook murderer, I wouldn't have allowed another deadly weapon in my home either. The computer!!

It pains me that we have "news" people in WV like that guy but at least the WVCDL rep did a good job of dealing with him. I thought the news anchor was going to run off crying when he realized the WVCDL guy was armed!

Me being a Canadian will offer you all a deal..........how about you all arm yourselves with automatic weapons and whatever else you can get your friggin hands on and shoot yourselves to oblivion until there is nothing left. Then we can walk across the border without any f?&&* paranoid shit from customs official and claim that lazy excuse for a country!!!

My last experience in California taught me a lesson (******* shooting at the car in front of him for roadrage). You all deserve what's happening right now! Not a hater.....just the facts!

Keep your Canada BS out of here, you can stay out of the US, and this discussion can continue without you.
Thanks!
