soo ive been excited and been trying to wait until i got my blower but seeing as the balance will be paid the end of this comming week id figure id just post now. finally after the past 3 years with my rig and figuring what my end goal would be and what kind of build i want to do i finally decided to go with a supercharger. but ill also be running a wastegate on my system. ill be doing my motor build in a year and didnt wanna have to buy another headunit so in talking with a certian someone we have decided to go with the prochargewr F1a blower and ill be running the tial wastegate on it along with the biggest pully i can get from procharger. im pretty excited to see how this setup runs and from what ive been reading and told its gonna be pretty bad ass.. ill be paying off my balance i have the end of this week so i should have the kit in about..... i dont 3 week i guess. in the meantime ill be putting the other parts together as the kit i buitl with skip is a tuner kit so ill be getting together my injectors, fuel setup, sprk plugs and a few other goodies..
my absolute end result i am looking to achive will be about 1000hp to the wheels and i know its gonna take allot to reach but this is what i want.. i will be looking to run some gogo juice at some point also so if i pass the 1000 hp mark id be fine with that. ill be posting in my "minibuild" thread once the install starts and ill put all updates and dyno numbers as well as times in that thread.. LETS GET REDAY TO RUMBLE!!!!!

Thanks fellas!! Chris Jim will be doing it all. I mended things up with him about a month or so ago from some things I said a about 2 years ago being as I didn't realize what us east coat guys have on our side with Jim and the hemishop. I'm very glad he accepted my apology and couldn't ask for anyone better to help me out! Ill be running the "big red"
Valve and an mvr tial wastegate! Should sound like a G6 lol
Also Chris if cool you will be doing my cage when the time comes.
thanks brother. my plan is to have her up and running for darlington. fingers crossed. should be pretty bad ass. and even better once i do my forged motor. ill be doing a built tranny at the end of this season
i didn't know you could run a wastegate on a supercharger.... I'm a turbo guy so please enlighten me...
It's the same concept as on a turbo except instead of exhaust pressure it's getting rid of the charge pressure. Works pretty much the same way. In my application for the time being ill be on the stock block. The f1a can be pullied down to its min boost output wich is about 12 psi HOWEVER the stock block with a Supercharger can maybe handle Bout 10-11 or so lbs and stock tranny even less. Ill be running about 5lbs on the street and about 7 at the track so all u have to do is the math. The blower is putting out say 12lbs and I wanna run 7 lbs. 12 minus 7 is 5 so I would run the correct spring that will blow of the extra boost. And eventually ill add a boost controller as well. If I didn't explain it the right way I'm sure skip or another expert can chime in but that's pretty much the gist of it. Being the f1a's boost is more aggressive then say the d1 I should get allot more boost off the line and quicker then then a d1 headunit. The powerband should be super sick with a nice flat like after I hit peak boost. All will equal a nasty SC setup!! Agin if I'm explaining this wrong skip can chime in and fix this up lol.
I think 1000 hp to the wheels from an f1a is ambitious unless your spraying it with a 175 shot or buzzing it in the 20s psi wise.

At about 15psi (which is about the max on the 6rib setup without seeing crazy slippage) you'd make it to the 900whp range on race gas tune with the 6 rib setup but we'll have an 8 rib conversion for these kits soon so they'll be able turn it up for the guys looking to make higher boost levels and power. Only a matter of time before it's available now.
