Engine Lubricant

So I'm about to turn over 80,000 miles on my '07...Thinking of adding an Engine Lubricant like Slick 50 or something. Is there anything better on the market now for our trucks?

If you've been changing the oil and filter regularly I don't see a reason for any of that stuff.

I agree with Eric. Harrison had over 100,000 miles and when they opened it up it was still in great condition.

All that shit is shit, don't waste your money. If you get any of that stuff, might as well get a throttle body spacer at the same time.

Google some of that crap....

Say what you like guys, I'm sold on my MolySlip E. The can gave me 10hp & 10 ft lb gains & I've got the dyno #'s to prove it. Pretty cheap mod to get you an add'l 10 ponies.
p.s. I don't have any financial interests in the company but my buddy owns it. It works! They have a website.

Was this after a fresh oil change too?

Yes Sir!
The stuff works! I honestly can't feel the difference but the dyno #'s confirmed it. I have to say I was quite surprised by the outcome.

The 4wd dyno is owned by Rocket Rally Racing here in Squamish, BC. They build & race the Subaru rally cars for Subaru Canada. The owner of the shop couldn't believe it either but had to concede that the #'s were correct.

I like the product for the fact that it coats all the internal parts in Molydenum which protects the engine during cold starts when there is no oil on the cylinder walls. I'm sure any of the engine builders on this site would agree that the worst wear on an engine is cold starts.

All this stuff does is reduce the internal friction of the engine. That translates into improved gas mileage, torque & horsepower. Make any sense?
