Radiator hose

Hey Guys, does anyone know the internal diameter of both ends of the stock upper radiator hose(engine side and radiator side)...I believe the ends have different sizes?

I don't have a stock one but have a Dayco laying around. The rad end appears to be 1.5" & the engine end appears to be 1.75".

Sounds rite, thats what it was on my Charger

That is interesting, I wonder if they use the same hose? What year and style was your Charger and did it use a one or two piece hose?

06 Charger RT 5.7, 1 piece hose. Different hose though, not as long as ours.

Yeah, I'm working on customizing an upper hose right now and it will definitely be a one piece..The one we have is very pathetic and a very poor design with 4 points of possible failure and yes I have read about all the options and they will be my backup if my plan fails.

Dayco already makes a one piece hose for our jeeps.....

Can you provide the part number and where to get one of these? I am in desperate need.... Mine has been blowing off almost daily now. I replaced the factor clamp with threaded hose clamps(Actually have 2 in one spot trying to hold hose on and still no luck). This is becoming a major PITA.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Dayco Part # 72226, you will have to cut approximately 1" off the thermostat end for a good fit and use the screw type clamps in lieu of the stock pinch clamps.
