NEW SRT Owner in HOUSTON, TX and Hitting Baytown this Friday
Hi forum. Just now getting around to posting the first time. First time SRT owner. Loving my 2010 Jeep. Thought I'd reach out and see who my fellow Houston area SRT owners are. Want to say thanks to this site and the many contributing posts. I've done quite a bit of research since getting my jeep. Still have a long way to go.
Thanks guys. I'm already feeling the camaraderie as I passed a blue SRT yesterday in Spring and he flashed his lights. Don't see too many of them in our area.
Now for the track.... perhaps I need to do a bit of research on this site, but I need to find out what the best techniques are for the most favorable results (i.e. good times).
Welcome to the forum. For the track, what you will want to do is turn off TC, power brake to anywhere in between 1500-3000rpm, and then just mash it. Mess around with different RPM's on the launch and see what works best for you. Also make sure to turn AC and the radio off at launch. Oh and make sure to get a few wheel chirps in to get the tires warm before launch.

Thanks, Brotha. Okay -n00b alert: When I power brake it, will that mean my wheels are spinning or it's just revved and ready to launch? Also - what are the other tips while getting ready to launch (i.e. warming tires, etc)?
