Where does it say 70-75K am I missing it? I just read an article that said it would be right under 60K, that is about $4500 more than before

I think it's just an assumption to hit $70k as recent 2013's have been sneaking up on $70k.

Agreed. People need to shut up about $70k. For all we know SRT is browsing the forums. They reason that since people are already prepared for $70k why not make it $70k. This Jeep should not increase in price one penny. At max inflation adjustment.

In that case, I am good with it maxing out at $60k.

My only complaint with a 70K price tag would be the performance factor. Less than 500 ponies and now currently the slowest the SRT in the bunch, but the most expensive. Throw in the 6.2 S/C, make 600 Crank HP and price it at 70K, and hell i'd say it's a good deal. We have no idea what the price will be, BUT, i agree, it should be relatively around the same price as the 12'. 60-62K i think would be a fair price with the new upgrades on the interior, launch control and 8 speed alone.

So walking into a Nissan dealer to buy a 100k plus car is alright?

Every car manufacture had to start somewhere. Jeep is progressing to the top. If they keep refining their technology, interiors, features, drivability, luxury, and lineup, then there's no reason not to build a top of the line/premium vehicle that requires a 70k tag.

So, Would you spend $70k for this 2014?

I would spend that kind of cash on this....
