Seeing as how the OP hasn't posted anything in regards to specifics surrounding this kit at all... I fail to see how anyone can make that comparison?
If you want apples to apples... you should find out what apples RET has, instead of looking at a couple pics and knowing nothing about the build. We have no idea what fuel solution is being used, tuning, supporting mods, etc... As far as I know the west coast guys don't have many other options to begin with, and starting $1500 less than your next closest competition isn't a bad start, as long as the product is comparable or at least worth the convenience. Maybe RET has a weekend turnaround time? Maybe they jigged up a couple kits off of this truck and they hammer out the work?
Lets see what the truck does and get a parts list before we bash them to pieces. Competition makes a better product for all of us.
