WK1 General Performance DiscussionIf you are planning on modifying your Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with a performance enhancing modification, this is the section to post about it.
So if all goes well and I sell my vette and pick up a stock srt8 jeep. My question is what will it take to run a 11. It will be a dd, i don't race much at the track. But i want that power there if i do or i need to whoop someones ass on the street.
I farted around on marylandspeed and rpd sites just ball parking prices. I know off the bat i want to do a Head/cam combo( nice gains with a nasty lope), headers, corsa exhaust, cai, 180therm, iffy on a stall but prob.
any incite would be awesome..

If you jump on that deal Skip is having you can definitely make it into the 11's since you want to get Heads/Cam/Headers anyway. Also you should buy his Fuel System too
Plenty of options for you to get into 11s, head/cam combo would be a good start but best bang for the buck would be a supercharger kit, we have tons of ProCharger customers that are running 11s with supporting mods. Also, like Rufjatt said, we've got one vortech kit left at smokin' price too.

Yup.throw a blower on. I picked up one of the vortechs, I'm up in the bad air, so I doubt I'll make 11's, maybe low 12's, but with good air and a cam, easy 11's.

You definately have a point Joe. You run 11's all day long even in crappy air. I can't imagine what your 440 would do in good air.
