You drive a Gallardo...and you're complaining about a little gas consumption? Yes that's fair...lol

Not trying to be a smart azz, but I find it hard to believe a Lambo owner is worried about gas mileage in a jeep, paying for tires, or a vehicles depreciation. I figured all Lambo owners were ballets and this type of stuff was below them.

Hell at the least a person driving a lambo, and not even that old of one a LP-560 is relatively new shouldn't be complaining about gas mileage lol.

LOL...I know..people always say that all the time.

One time I took my Gallardo to get gas at Sams Club to get gas, a guy looked at me, looked at my car, then says "driving a car like that, shouldn't you be getting gas somewhere else?"

I looked at him with a smile and I said "dude, I'm broke as a joke now with this car, I'll take any savings I can get!" He chuckled!

Listen, just because I own a Lambo, doesn't mean I have a US Treasury $20 bill printing machine at home! I still work hard, have to conscious about my spendings, and budget.

One can think of this way, I'm spending all my money on the Lambo and its upgrades, all other toys will take a back seat or

Lambo is not a DD, it's a leisure car. Not really an expensive car to maintain since I only put about 1500 miles on it a year.

SRT8 is a DD where now is costing more day-to-day to operate than my Lambo in general.

Garage
idk if you mentioned this, but the 50k is the buying outright offer from the dealer or trade in?

and what else are you considering for a DD, other than a jeep?

I looking at another Patriot as my DD. I have a 2008 Patriot with 90K miles now, had it since new, love that little thing.

$50K trade in, $15K for the used 2010 Patriot, I walk out with $35K check in hand!

If I trade it in, then I save on the PA sales tax.

If I sell the SRT8 outright, I will have to pay PA sales tax later when I go buy a replacement vehicle (new or used).

Not all!

It also goes to show that, you don't have to be "rich" to own a Lambo! Just know where to sacrafice and budget!

I guess it makes sense but I refuse to ever buy a car on payments or sacrifice other things. However, with the 2014 I don't see there being that drastic of a fuel economy change over the 2012 that you have. What else would you consider then if that's the case?

I really love the new Mercedes Diesel trucks considering picking up a 2013 GL350, damn near 600 miles to a tank.

I guess I'll see...not 100% committed to the 2014 MY GCSRT8 yet. Like to drive my Patriots to death and save up for another Lambo perhaps!

The new model that replaces Gallardo is coming out in 2014 (unveil mid-late this year). Rumor has it that during the Lamborghini's 50the anniversary celebration, the CEO Winkelmann wil unveil a new model during the celebration! Can't wait.

For now...get an economical DD, enjoy my G, and save up for whatever entices my attention!
