Why would you want to drive with only 1 cat?

actually i wouldnt want to, but when installing my longtubes, the guy at the shop did some kind of mistake installing back the factory cats right under the bottom liquid tank where it was touching. it should be that close.
so i wasnt satisfied with what they did then i told him he had to fix it.
se i think he did wat was easier for him which was removing the cat itself and adding a straight pipe.

but is it an issue driving without one?

thanks alot

First off your check engine light will turn on almost instantly and your motor will REALLY REALLY not like that.

If your tuning them out remove both, not one. But tell the exhaust shop you want the entire pipe replaced, not just pieced back together. That is beyond unacceptable and also illegal for a shop to cut a cat out of a vehicle, especially without the owners consent.
