Ok little update, Here are the engine specs that I never posted. project is coming along, just waiting for more parts. just ordered a Ati overdrive pulley, my 3000 stall should be here friday and the SHR trans should be here within a few weeks. most of the engine is built, waiting for my valve hardware STILL!!...
Front of the motor is back on along with the new cam, clearanced the windage tray, pan and mounts... I am too impatient! but hey I guess that goes with my obsessive personality that is common with most of us modders..
New cam spec's are 231/238 617/615 114 Lsa

Do you plan on installing the long tubes on the engine and then installing it? If so I say to you good luck getting them past the subframe. I currently have my engine out and it was a real @#$ with long tubes installed. I ended up removing the headers in chassis to get it out. When I go to install this thing back in, trans is coming out and im dropping the subframe. I will install the engine with headers on to the subframe and bolt it down, pull out engine/trans harness and hook it all up. Bolt the trans back on to the engine and lower the whole body down on to the subframe. I have a hoist so its gonna be pretty easy.
