WWYD: Someone knocks on your door to talk cars.

First off, Merry Christmas to all of you.

Secondly, what would you do if someone knocked on your door because they saw your SRT8 outside or any other car that is "cool". Would you tell them to get lost or would you talk with them?

I had this happen to me about 6 months ago. It was strange at first but once I got to know the person it was ok. We talked for several hours and I gave him several suggestions on his SRT8 build. I gave him a ride in my Jeep as a baseline. His response was comical during WOT. He never thought that our jeeps can be this fast.

I agree with what has been said, not a big deal as long as your polite and acknowledge today is Xmas there should not be any issues. Nothing like talking cars!

you know I ;ve always talked to the guys who'd come uop to me when I was in my GN, SS and now the Jeep.

I always try n be cool about it even though I don't know these guys. Here is my thinking to being cool as opposed to being a prick!

If I talk to them and they generally have some kind of knowledge about the rides, i'll show it. pop the hood so they can check out the mods. and they leave semi happy! ( cause they wish it was their's)

But, let's say, I decided to be an ******* and tell them to get lost.

next time they see my ride parked somewhere, anywhere! they could very well leave me a little present

for me to see when I come out. and not a good present, one that would piss me the F#@k off.

so that's why I always try and be social about it.

and to this day I have never had an Issue or any unwanted presents left on my rides.
