I've enjoyed this thread. Thanks guys...

Ps, how is your insurance comparing the 2 cars? I'm assuming there's some savings there too?

As for the people who wear their socks only once. I can afford to do that, but would rather put that money into cars or boats and have holes in my socks because I'm too cheap to buy new ones

SRT8: $497/6 months ($1000 deductible) - full coverage
Lambo: $1100/6 months ($500 deductible) - full coverage

But Lambo is currently in "withdraw from use" status for winter months where the collision portion of the insurance is turned off! Lambo is now only $274/6 months!!

Thought the Lambo would have been a lot more.

But I guess you can pick up an '09 for the price of 2 '12 SRT8s. Makes sense. lol

The used market price for gallargo's isn't too bad, you're in line with used 911 turbos and such. I was looking at them for a while, unfortunately, I'm a little tall for them, it would be a bit of a struggle to own. Short trips only without getting too uncomfortable I'd suspect.

Might try again in a few years, time will tell. Maybe the next body style will fit tall people a tiny bit better too

It really gets expensive when you add about 800 hp to it. Lol

When I first initially thought about pulling the trigger on getting a Gallardo, I was afraid of the cost of insurance for the car! End up with State Farm because I have my other vehicles with them as well as my home owners, liability policies along with multiple other discounts which were the keys to affordability!

Great coverage too for my Lambo. I was very pleased. I can get my Lambo premiums even lower if I increase my deductible from $500 to $1000 or $2000!

For what I paid for my 2009 LP560 ($175K), I can buy close to three 2012 GCSRT8s! Then all the mods that I added onto and into my LP560, I can buy another 2012 GCSRT8! Can't stop installing carbon fiber!!

I'm sorry but you're wrong there.

8 total, they can sit in each others laps

I haven't tested how many I can get in the trunk yet however... Dead or alive
