Need shocks/suspension/Chicago area

I just bought a used 08 SRT8. I think the ride is pretty "wavy" and would like it more responsive and firm.
(1) Any suggestions on shock/suspension upgrades....but not too teeth-rattling .
(2) Does anyone know a shop in the Chicago area that does good work on SRT8's>
