I've been collecting these links for when I get to head up to the track once my rig comes back from go-fast modding.

GL
I think this is referring to a guy with a stock tranny and I have read that if you have an 06 it will not autostick. I do not have an 06 as I have on 07 but i have a built paramount tranny so will this one still shift on its own? Does it shift smoother or better in autostick or something? Less chances of me hitting the rev limiter perhaps?

I think I may downshift and try the autostick in like 3rd gear, something less brutal, to see if it works. I assume downshifting will also cause autostick to start shifting on its own too??

Mine is an '06, and I verified it also did not have the TCM factory flash for it to autostick. I was pretty bummed when I found out after picking her up a few months ago.

But fast-forward to today, not a big deal now. Part of the mod work I have started this week is for install of a complete built Paramount setup. Bills TCMs come with autostick fully functional - along with the pin-you-in-your-seat shifting. Stoked!

Sounds like your rig might accelerate the Earth's rotation a bit when you hit the track though!

Demon Performance was looking into producing drag wheels for our vehicles but I think that fell through. For tires I would get yourself two rear NT05rs and you are set.

...........
Has anyone put any drag radials or strip tires on these (Sport Edition F10s) and run their jeeps on them? Curious as to size used and results. Rim is an 8.5, so a 10 inch tire would be pushing it.

The wheels are vision legend 5 18x9.5 with a +35 mm offset using 305/45R18 tires. They fit on the back without issue and the tire size is okay to run with the 20's on the front. The Vision wheel can also be used up front but I believe a spacer is needed. Jake would have to chime in to answer that.

As for your launch I would purchase the stage6 2 step. Its not that much money, easy to install, and will make launching much easier.

I was thinking of the Sport Edition F10s. I know, not a mustang wheel. Maybe a 10 inch tire would fit on it, little bulgy but just going in straigh line, 305/45 r18 would be a good match, almost same width as a 315, and about 1.5 more inches of sidewall.

James, for now, your two feet and some brake stalling should work and then adjust once you see how the track treats you.

I've seen the Russians put GTR wheels on the jeeps. Would need a modded wheel/spacer though

You want to avoid spacers with the torque these make. It puts a lot of different stresses on the lugs

If you send 2 sport additions to weld craft they I'll make 10 inches wide for around
250 each. The 275 m&h will fit on the 8 inch front and you will have a set of 18 inch
Race wheels for around 1100 as opposed to 3k plus. And they will fit the stock brembos.
