I know that the Jeep is fast, but it shouldn't be faster than a 911.
I used to race 911's in my 500 rwhp RX-7 all the time, and I wouldn't call them "slow".

Was it an old 911?

A basic 911 carrera s only rocks 400 bhp. Maybe your thinking of a 911 turbo, those things are fast.

Good kill OP!

I think you raced a 911T .. and yes, they are fast .. My neighbour has one, and lets just say he likes to show off.

911s I could see walking over though !! nice kill OP

Yes, I did Race modified Turbos.

Actually, normally aspirated 911's from 2005+ all had about 330-350ish HP.
The Turbo's were about 480ish, not counting special models.

However...

The OP stated it was a 911S (which does rock 400HP)

With approximately only 20Hp less than the Jeep, and half the weight.
Other than a hole-shot off the line, it still shouldn't happen with a stock Jeep.

In the interest of ending this "internet debate", I will presume the Porsche owner didn't know what he was dealing with, and thought he was going to have an easy fight.

Yep still do. Although she has been neglected for a while.
I've actually been thinking of dropping a 2JZ in her and calling it a day.
