So you are replacing the head units? If so, then yes, bypass the factory amps.
As far as your Jeep goes, I would seriously consider a Kicker Upgrade. The "Quality" vs "Money Spent"
cant be matched, as they are OEM, and designed for our rigs. Plus you keep your factory head unit for
a nice clean install with all the steering wheel controls, etc.
