Filmed a race and one car decided to check out

Around my area, I'm usually the pic taker/video guy when it comes to car shows/races, things of that nature, but I've always been waiting for that one moment of bad luck to be caught on film. Well it finally happened, so bear with me on this video...........the 2 cars included are a Mach 1 Mustang with cams/exhaust/tune vs. a Turbo 350Z (stock bottom end), and you'll understand why I threw that in there once you watch the video. Race went from about a 40 roll, they couldn't hear me 3 honk, so they did it themselves, im in my Jeep as the chase vehicle, as the video starts, notice how the 350 is already smoking as the inevitable is about to happen.................

I cut the video off because I was getting a call from the guy in the 350 that his motor let go. You can see towards the end of the video as they top the hill that his car is beginning to let go. Although it seems to be running good in the video, if you'd have seen what was over the other side of that hill, you'd have thought otherwise, lol. Once I topped the hill, the car was smoking heavily and stopped running, guess thats what 14lbs on a stock VQ does, ended up breaking 2 connecting rods, threw the timing chain, ouch, and thus was my excitement for the day.

Well I think he woulda been alright, had he not installed that progressive boost controller, which keeps him to 8lbs in 1st and 2nd, but once he goes to 3rd, it ups to 14, haha stock internals said uh-uh Couldnt help but laugh cause I told him to keep it low.
