Got a tune from the Toona last year. I have since changed the torque converter to a higher stall. And now run straight 100 octane gas too. Seems like I am not getting any top end out of this thing. Getting great 60' times on the Bridgestones.
Do I need to get a retune or is this all I got. AFR's are around 12.0 to 12.2 at wide open.
Yeah I would look at the logs from your most recent run to see if there is any knock in there, but from the looks of it, looks like your Rig is running pretty good...... You can have Johan give you a Race tune that you can use with some VP109, where he will bump up the timing a bit for ya to take advantage of the VP109......

Exactly what camuman said... you're tune and high octane will only get you so far unless you have supporting mods to take advantage of the octane. Just throwing in race gas and adding some timing isn't going to be enough to make it a monster...
All i did was add a 50/50 mix of 91 and vp109 (= 98 octane) and didnt change the street dyno tune i have and picked up .16 in the 1/8 mile and if i would get a race tune i no i could pick up another .10. I might break down and spend the money and get the race tune. When i got my dyno tune there was a guy who dynoed at same time who got a race tune on 100 octane and he put out 376 hp to my 368. Now if i do get a race tune it will be on vp109 as our 100 in ca has the same oxy of 1.8% as our 91 does.

Not wanting a Monster, just think it should be in the 7.9 range with the decent air here in SC. I have CAI,kooks w/cats,Johan tune,Paramount trans w/dominator converter,Paramount transfer case,Stage6 shocks,275/315. I only picked up .04 when I got the headers and tune. I thought it would pick up at least a 10th or two. Which would have gotten me into the 7's.

Dam if you can't get into the 7.90s with your mods there's something wrong. IMO with the mods you have the headers and cats hurt you in the low and maybe the mid range.
