I went to the track today with a buddy of mine (convertible '04 Cobra), my brother ('96 Thunder Chicken) and a quite a few of his T-bird buddies. The weather was pretty much perfect (low to mid 50's with low humidity) and track was prepped quite well.
I ended up doing better than expected and setting a new PB... 12.74 @ 106.84! I made 10 passes today and all of them were between 12.74 and 12.80 with the exception of one 12.86. My best MPH came with the best ET above. And all of my 60 ft were between 1.76 and 1.79. I'd say she's pretty consistent.

I played around with using traction control, shutting it off via ESP button and pulling the fuse... as you can tell it didn't seem to matter much.
My brother also managed a new PB in his '96 Thunderbird. He REALLY wanted to see an 11 sec pass but he was only rewarded with a string of 12.03 - 12.08 at 112 - 114 mph passes. He was also very consistent all day long. That T-bird is a big behemoth of a car (over 4k lbs I think) and usually most folks expect nothing out of them. It surprises many a driver.

He had some other T-bird buddies there that were running in the 10's! Damn birds are getting it done!
And my buddy in the orange '04 Cobra convertible managed to match his PB at 12.14 around 114 mpg I think. He unfortunately ended the day breaking a half shaft and going home on a trailer.

But all in all it was a great day.
