Well my buddies shop tested it, the draw on the battery is normal but the battery still goes dead. Looking like a case of a bad battery. Fortunately it's only 5 months old, and under warranty . Kind of a pain but I will take a bad battery over a mysterious electrical gremlin anyday!.
