I'm not sure on the longevity I high temperature powdercoating, maybe stage 6 uses this on their setups and knows more. But I would think the thermal expansion and contraction cycels would make the powder coating flake off. My research in college was thermal Barrier coatings used in gas turbine engines and this is the main problem with them...along with oxidation. Maybe someone else with more experience with this will chime in.

It's not the amount of heat it can take that's hard on the coating it's the material its attached to that expands and contracts.
Atleast this will be a good test for future reference .
Most materials that hits 1200 deg will expand and contract. I believe Chris at TTC told me they PC their hotsides with high temp PC. I had mine coated and I believe it is high temp PC. Maybe he will chime in.
