Wife's 2013 Vapor

Ladies and Gents,

I wanted to do a quick intro on behalf of my wife since it is her ride. She now owns the largest cubic displacement of all three vehicles!

We traded in her 2010 Unlimited Rubicon for a 2013 Vapor about a week ago. It was a funny story to say the least. She sends me a build sheet while at work on a Wednesday with the Vapor options. Said she thought it was sexy. I told her to schedule an appointment with her dealer that night. We got an appraisal for the Rubi, a bit low, but they didn't have any SRTs on the lot. Next night I am in class, Post 911 GI Bill, and she calls me saying she is about to test drive a Vapor at another dealer. An hour later she is in love with it, I tell her to ask for $27k for the trade-in or walk. They did the usual and she asked for $25k, they said no and she walked. less then ten minutes they call her back, $25k for the Rubi plus USAA price match plus $750 off the Vapor.

Couldn't pass that up at all!

This is our first SRT but not our first muscle car. I own a 2006 GTO and a 2012 SVT Raptor so the SRT is a great fit to the family. we total in at 18.6L between the three or a total of 18.6 Smart cars at 1.0L each... Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The SRT drives great. we have already had the chance to take it out to a few wineries last week and done some hot rodding around town.

Thanks for the chance to introduce ourselves. Maybe I can convince her to sign up and get her own user ID.

-Butch / Rebecca
