Mine won't be as heavy as that set up you're looking at, but I need a good sound system. Plus if I do take it to the track, I can always pull the subwoofer.

More weight make more power. :-) it's all on quick disconnect... Lower seat and that's all she wrote. And once I add twins, I'll be set all the way around.

Hey guys... question. The bostons are discontinued and I was wondering what input you guys had about a set of components 2 or 3 way, that fit, and also can handle 150watts rms(at the right freq xover)

Just today I had a JL Audio Stealthbox with a XD-1 600 Watt amp installed. Makes a big different in adding moving more air with the bass. Nice thing about the Stealthbox is that it looks completely stock.

the stealthbox is a pretty unit. Not enough power for me though.

Don't know how much more you would need, unless you are planning on also installing 24" DUB's and scissor doors too. I had a pair of 12" built into a custom enclosure with a 1200W amp driving them in my Roush Mustang and they didn't provide that much better sound - for at least 5x the cost.

I'm getting 1 10w7 and an HD750/1 its not going to slam out of control but I want it to be loud and clear. Hence the build...
