This has nothing to do with Jeeps. Everyone who has kids understands the stress they bring... Back in 2009 I deployed to Iraq three weeks after my first son was born. I came back in 2010 and never really transition into fatherhood...still was the party animal. I was, for lack of better word, a shitty dad. Then my second son was born in July 2011 but I PCSed in March of 2011 and left my wife and son back in TX till June 2011. Having two sons and going through another move life for me had become extremely stressful and I still had not come to terms of fatherhood. This past September my third son was born but months leading up to September I was headed down the wrong path. I was drinking a handle bottle of liquor about every ten days and drank everyday. Something happened in June 2012 and I knew I had to turn my life around, especially before September when my third son was born. Here is the good news... Tomorrow marks the fourth month of sobriety and I have lost over thirty pounds. I didn't do any kind of program I just maned up and became a better father and husband. Life is once again amazing and I love being a father. I still have stressful days but nothing I can't manage. I have been to parties and have had family drink around me and I have not faltered. Well anyway Thanks for reading.

Congratulations on the first four months - keep it up!! The responsibility of fatherhood, while daunting, is the most rewarding activity a guy can undertake. Always keep your kids in mind as they represent your legacy...

Congrats, it's definitely hard. I think the best part of having children is you can have the work day at work and get home and they can brighten your day
