Curious how everyones Jeeps are doing on the track? The wife ran ours a few months back out here in PHX, AZ (106* night) and was able to pull a 13.8 @ 95 mph with a 1.88 60'
This is bone stock, 3/4 tank of fuel, and trac control left on. She tried a few diff MODE settings but the truck did the same.
I may go tonight or tomm since weather is in the 60's now, and see how it does with not much fuel in it and trac control off.
Went a 13.47@102 with a 1.84 60' last night in the cooler weather. I also ran it on the EVIC 1/4 mile screen and it showed a 13.3@102
I tried launching at many diff rpms, and used all the different modes while playing. It seemed an idle or very low rpm launch worked best as it flashes the converter nicely and sport/track modes work best.
Still seems abit slower than what some run on these forums but I was glad to better the time so much.
No problem, the WK2 Jeep was all stock except a bwoody intake for that race. My WK1 had an intake, exhaust, Johan tune, lowered, and shocks. Overall, the WK2 performed like a stock Jeep for the DA I had. The first WK2 run was the best since the engine had time to cool down for a couple hours.
went to e-town today for the last day of the season to see if i can get into the very high 12's.
the day started with misting and very high humidity about 45degrees.
i wanted to beat my previous 13.184@103.21 on my bone stock 12 gc srt8.
after the first laugher of 14.0@103 (track mode and wheel spin), second run 13.211@102.81
saved the best for last beating a slightly moded 05 mustang gt with a 13.113@103.92.
3 runs took 7 hours because of the delay with the mist/fog, but i guess i have to be happy as it weighed 5380lbs with me in it.
will have to wait to next year to get that 12.999999!

I ran mine with the built in the car EVIC and I ran 0 - 60 in 4.3 and the quarter mile 12.80 at 105 mph, that was with over 3/4 of a tank full of gas and 40 degree out side. I do have the hennessy air box.

Reason: adding
I been getting consistent times of 12.8 @ 106 and 12.9 @105 with temps between 45°f i took this pic the next day when temp was up. I get 13.1 -13.3 @102 on days from 60-75°f and where i live is just about sea level. Its stock besides a borla attak. And Hennessey cai. I wonder how much better times i would get with a tune?

The quickest I have seen stock at the track is Megabass (Mike). He ran against me at our home track (Lebanon Valley) in April and ran a 12.90 to my 12.80. My WK1 had a tune, CAI and was lowered. So he wasn't that far off, but during the summer heat I was more than a .1 faster. I think the temps might affect the WK2 a little more?
