Sucks to hear man, just remember it could have been worse!

I'm just going to put this out here though, because this is probably the first of many Jeeps lost to the storm -

WATCH OUT FOR THESE JEEPS TO "FLOOD" THE MARKET.

If a deal is too good to pass up, it probably is guys. After Katrina there were a lot of deals on cars that were in the flood. Some people were taken advantage of.

I personally wouldn't mind picking one up cheap, it would be a great base vehicle to mod. Hopefully we still see you around here man, it's hard to stick around a site like this when you don't have a truck to talk about, but best of luck with everything.

That sucks Ryan, but at least insurance made it right with you. They usually try to screw you enough that you walk funny for a week.

DAMN Dev, really sorry to hear that. I'm glad though the insurance worked with you and you ended up with more than you wanted.

Keep us posted, best wishes to the family during this disaster.

Thank you! Yes I am very happy - Liberty Mutual was very understanding and after I explained to them this was a garage queen 90% of the time they took that into consideration...

Hey Jack - so very true - there was an ISf in my garage, Civic SI, 30 year old Mercedes SL, Toyota Tundra, Lexus RX truck 6 months old, BMW 33b XI 4-door, Toyota Camry Hybrid, and 2 other Grand Cherokee Limiteds...and that was just in my garage...the garage next door to her building I walked through...I saw a 4-door Maserati, Brand new Mercedes CLS, Porsche Targa, 2 M3s, and various Mazdas, SUVS, E-Class Mercedes, a few 7-series...Millions of dollars worth of cars....

I have the vin handy - will run a carfax down the road and see what happened...I bet someone will buy the shell and rebuild - there were only 3 scratches on the entire car and road chips on the lower front bumper - exterior was MINT on my Jeep...

If anyone has any connections at BMW dealerships (certified pre-owned), please let me know here, or PM me or if you have my cell/email please pass me the info.
