Marijuana legalized in Washington state.

Crazy it finally happened, it's been coming for a while. I don't partake myself but looking forward to some new tax revenue that doesn't involve raising existing taxes that are already high here.

Is this medical or just legalized all together? It would be a great help to all the states & federal governments economic problems. IMO its less dangerous than alcohol.

It's not legal. It's still illegal in the eyes of the Government. The DEA and FBI can come bust those dispensaries anytime they want to. Until the Govt. declares it legal, it'll always be illegal.

One ounce or less for personal use, not medical. It will be regulated and taxed by the state. Yes it is still illegal in the eyes of the Feds but they haven't been giving much trouble to the medical dispensaries we already have so we will see how it all plays out.

Harry, The State of Wa. WILL be the drug dealers. Regulated, sold, and distributed BY the STATE!!!! Anyone over the age of 21 will be able to walk into a STATE run store and buy it! Im so fricking excited. I was once busted in Ak. with a grow op that had $300,000 plus worth of product in it. That was 15 years ago and Ive been straight and narrow for the most part ever since.

Im dying with excitement right now. Can you say ground floor business opportunity?

The Feds shouldn't get involved unless it's crossing state lines.

I still don't get why it's illegal in the first place, it's a naturally growing plant. It's not a lab drug.
They should make cigarettes illegal, it's the deadliest "legal" drug out there.
